Shaun Gant

As a University of Montana MFA student in theĀ ’80s, Shaun studied with many famous, fancy poets and received two National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) literature fellowships and a scholarship to the VermontĀ Studio Center.

Her poems appear in US and German journals and anthologies: The South Dakota ReviewCutbank MagazinePersonna, Concrete Wolf, Nimrod International, Poems in the Time of CoronavirusPoems Across the Big Sky I and II, An Anthology of Montana Poets, and many others. She has three chapbooks: Whisk, Lyric, Logic (Touch of Light Press, 2002 with Sheila Miles), Chapbook a Book of Cowgirl Poems (Unbridled Press 2003), and 5a.m. Aubades and Drawings (Newtopia Magazine, 2010 with Sheila Miles). 

Shaun has produced more than 20 original plays and enjoys collaborating with local visual artists, actors and directors. She teaches and writes in Missoula, Montana.
